Squidoo Groups are gone, what should you do?

If you already owned a Squidoo Group, you know it has been converted into a Lens, and you will need to modify it. If this is not what you want to do, you can always advertise the address for free at Free Lenses or for sale

If like me, you were a member of some groups, all is lost. You will need to re-apply and add if possible. I am converting all of my old groups so that you can still add your Lens. See my Lensography for old groups you can still join, or send me an email.

The benefits are great. The major search engines, ie Google index all Lenses and follow the links in them. This helps expose your Lens to a greater number of visitors, make certain your keyword tags are correct.

Adding a Flag counter to your Lens

It is an easy step to add a Flag counter to your Lens. First you need to add a "Text" module to load the code into. Visit http://flagcounter.com/ and select the type of information you want to display. Create the code and copy and paste this into your empty Text module. Save and view your Lens.

The visitors are only registered once, so there is no padding of the results. Need help with your website, Blog or online marketing, please use the contact form

Squidoo is great if you have the time

I have been a member of Squidoo since 2007 and have created a lot of "Lenses" and manage a number of "Groups" Here are two links to Squidoo, the first is what is Squidoo, and how to create your free Squidoo page (Lens) and earn money, you can even use it with Ebay and YouTube.
http://www.squidoo.com/creating-lenses

The second link is to a sort of Squidoo site map, which many people call a "Lensography"

Maybe you say, all very interesting, but I don't have the time, send me an email with some details, and I will get back to you. It's my hobby so no big company or expensive fees.
If you want to do it yourself, there is a a Blog with help and tips and you can add your Blogging links for free, at http://uk-marketing.blogspot.com/ I show the url's, so you know where you are going.
